The
game we are designing doesn't have a definite name yet, but
at the moment, i will refer to it as Final Fantasy VII: Day
Of Dawning. So how did I go about choosing this name?
Firstly,
the game is still set in the world of Final Fantasy VII, so
using that name wasn't a brain strain.
Secondly,
the name Day Of Dawning, pretty much means the start of the
day, or a time before the light. I chose this because the
game is set "before" the original FFVII game, therefore
dawn would be the start of FFVII.
And
lastly, the name sounds cool and it has a catchy ring to it.
In sophisticated English terms, the alliteration of the "D"
is catchy and puts emphasis on the sub-title. :o)

More news, yay! We have more concepts on characters for the
game including a samurai, another chiky-dee, a tech head and
we're even trying to include Seto (Red XIII's father). Go
to the character page for these new inclusions :o) We have
also changed some of the ideas about the existing characters.
The date of the story has also been confirmed. It will take
place 45 years before Final Fantasy VII.
Saturday
November 01:
We have finalised the system and are remaining with the Materia
Junctioning. We believe its the best way to keep the original
Final Fantasy VII in this game, and also believe that it was
the easiest to figure out.
